At Contec, we strive to be the best at bringing creative technology and people based solutions to the world’s broadband and video service providers and electronics OEM’s.
We enable our customers to extend service life and maximize financial returns from their investments in customer premise equipment and electronics hardware while maintaining or improving their customer experience.

Operating from out network of service centers we provide our customers with solutions that leverage our proprietary testing and repair technology to accurately and efficiently manage returned devices. For more complex repairs we leverage our low-cost repair locations so we can maintain the perfect balance of speed and cost that is right for each customer. Our custom kitting resources also allow us to effectively fulfill direct to customer and bulk product orders to ensure a positive end-customer experience.
Our general electronics hardware repair services also leverage our service center network to offer our OEM customers the technical skills and responsiveness that is required to service and repair complex electronics hardware for customers from a wide range of industries including Medical, Industrial, and Analytical equipment.

Management Team

Joseph Joy
Chief Executive Officer
Joe’s leadership experience spans CEO and COO roles in micro-cap publicly traded and privately held companies to Division Executive of billion-dollar enterprises with a global footprint. He has led successful organization and service transformations across a broad range of markets in technology (from hand-held devices to data center infrastructure and massively parallel processors) to consumer packaged goods in “The Green Space”. A Lean - Leader since his first experience implementing The Toyota Production System (TPS) in 1986, Joe has a passion for diving into challenging markets and businesses and is especially strong in situations with demanding operations and supply chain requirements, having achieved dramatic results in quality, on-time delivery, inventory velocity and competitive positioning against low-cost competitors. He is an adept cross-functional problem-solver and team-builder who has served some of the most well-known and demanding brands including Verizon Wireless, The Disney Company, Whole Foods Markets, IBM and others.

Joe is a USAF Veteran who holds a Bachelors’ Degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Jochen Vogt
Chief Financial Officer
Jochen joined Contec in April 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. He has strong financial and operations experience gained over multiple international and US assignments with leading edge technology companies and a proven track record of scaling organizations in growth environments. Before joining Contec, Mr. Vogt served as Vice President Operations Finance at VeriFone (NYSE:PAY), leading the global finance organization to act as business partner to operations driving growth, cost optimization and cash flow improvement in the $2 billion organization. Prior to that assignment, Mr. Vogt served in a number of Operations Finance and Controller positions at Sanmina (NASDAQ: SANM), the California-based design and manufacturing services company and Nortel Networks, the multinational telecommunications and data networking equipment manufacturer headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Jochen holds a Graduate degree in Business Administration from FH Munich and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Jyoti Kapoor
Chief Operating Officer
Jyoti Kapoor joined Contec in January 2014 as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for management of all manufacturing, repair and hub operations. He has strong operations management experience within technology companies gained over multiple international and US assignments. Prior to joining Contec, Mr. Kapoor served as Global Vice President of Operations at ABB (NYSE: ABB) where he led ~$1 billion photovoltaic inverter manufacturing operation and spearheaded improvements in customer satisfaction, profitability, working capital and product quality. Prior to that, Mr. Kapoor served in a number of Operations Management roles at Sanmina (NASDAQ:SANM), the California-based design and manufacturing services company and Iomega (NYSE:IOM), a global leader in data storage products for consumers and business enterprises.

Mr. Kapoor holds an MBA in Operations Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona and Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from MIT, India.
Terry Le
Executive Vice President, Supplier Management
As Contec's EVP of Supplier Management, Terry is responsible for our strategic and business relationships with our key suppliers and partners. Separately, Terry also manages our Service Parts business. Terry joined the Contec team in August 2013, with several years of experience in a variety of senior operations roles in IT, materials, planning, asset management and general management at companies including Sanmina (NASDAQ:SANM) where she spent seventeen years and Solectron Corporation (now Flextronics) where she spent nine years.

Terry graduated from San Jose State University with BA degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and attended postgraduate training in several areas within the broad umbrella of operations.
Richard Kielb
Senior Vice President, Sales
Ritch Kielb is responsible for Sales for Contec Corporation and brings to his position tremendous experience with Contec having directed and coordinated the sales and marketing strategies of the organization over many years. Ritch joined Contec in 1991, and became a Senior Vice president of Contec Corporation in June of 2002. Prior to his promotion to Senior Vice-President, Ritch served as Contec's Northeast District Sales Manager, Director of Sales, National Sales Director and Vice President of Sales.

Ritch has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and Marketing from Siena College in Loudonville, New York, and brings extensive marketing and sales experience throughout the cable TV industry to Contec's executive management team.
Russ Ralbovsky
Vice President of Information Technology
Russ Ralbovsky is Contec’s Vice President of Information Technology responsible for managing all aspects of global systems architecture, application development, data center operations, and network infrastructure. Russ was promoted to VP in July 2016, having joined Contec in February 2014 as Director of Information Technology. In this role, he was responsible for systems development supporting Contec’s repair services, supply chain, manufacturing, data analytics, and financials. Prior to joining Contec, Russ was a Principal Consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation leading a large software development team building a health insurance exchange. He previously worked for 17 years at LexisNexis in several senior management roles directing the design and implementation of corporate ERP solutions, business systems operations, and managing a program office delivering mission critical projects.

Russ holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York Plattsburgh and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
